From the Desk of the Executive Director |
Happy Trails to our Friend Midge . . . . . .It is not often that a person comes into your life who is so special you just cannot find the words to express your gratitude for everything they have done. Mary “Midge” Barton is one of those special people and she has decided to retire from the field. She will be taking care of her family full time as only she can do. Midge is not only a skilled counselor and a huge asset to the field, but she is also a valued resource to IAODAPCA and moreover, she is our friend who we will truly miss. Over the years Midge had been a devoted employee at the IAODAPCA office, a productive volunteer at our conferences, and an effective mentor to her coworkers. Midge is a person who will go above and beyond what is expected for anyone who needs her help. Her work ethic is one to be desired. I speak on the behalf of the entire IAODAPCA staff when I say, Thank you Midge, we wish the best for you and your family. Your friends at IAODAPCA!
